Our studio,  had the honor of developing the branding for Anelya, a Ukrainian restaurant in Chicago, included in the Michelin Guide. 

The Challenge: Blending Tradition with Modernity.

Our goal was to craft a unique brand that captured the authenticity of Ukrainian cuisine while appealing to an American audience. Anelya isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a cultural space that connects guests to Ukraine through both taste and atmosphere.

Positioning: Culture-Driven Identity.

We developed branding that combines contemporary design with elements of Ukrainian heritage.

Communication Strategy: The brand reflects the idea of culinary diplomacy, positioning Anelya as a bridge between Ukraine and the U.S., presenting authentic Ukrainian dishes in a refined, dining experience.

Visual Identity: Traditional Ukrainian motifs were reimagined in a minimalist, modern design that is both eye-catching and memorable, blending elegance with authenticity.

Space and Design: Every detail, from the menu to the sign, was crafted to showcase the balance of tradition and modernity, ensuring a unique experience.

Result: The first Ukrainian restaurant to be included in the Michelin Guide.

Working with INTSIGN was the best possible experience one could ask for when developing a brand identity. Anastasiia, Oleh and the team created two separate full brand identity packages for my restaurant and management company. They genuinely listened to my vision and were able to interpret it to something new, creative and unique to us right off the bat. In fact, I don’t recall any revisions that had to be made on either design. They are kind, generous and friendly to work with. They provided me with prompt, transparent and honest pricing. I feel I got much more than I paid for. The timeline for completion was quicker than expected. Communication was open, consistent and available. I know I will work with them again and again.
