Ministry of Desserts is a sweet continuation of street gastronomy
As part of the development of the “Ministry” network of establishments, we had the task of creating branding for the new cafe “Ministry of Desserts” in Kyiv. This is the fifth establishment in the series that focuses on street food, but this time we have added emphasis on desserts and breakfasts.
The challenge: the combination of traditional confectionery skills with a modern street format
Our task was to create branding that reflects the connection between traditional Ukrainian and European confectionery skills, but in a format accessible to street cafe visitors. We aimed to create a cozy but dynamic atmosphere that allows guests to enjoy breakfast, home-made pastries and desserts on the go or in a convenient cafe format.
Strategy: creating the image of a cozy cafe for every moment.
We created a brand concept that reflects the balance between traditional and modern approaches to dessert and breakfast, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and creativity in presentation.
Visual identity: the design combines ironic elements and modern design — from the logo to the design of the space. The use of mint color and bright photos of desserts creates a festive atmosphere.
Communication strategy: the brand concept is built on emphasizing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that allows visitors to feel at home. “Ministry of Desserts” is a place for meeting, relaxing and enjoying sweet moments.
The result: a new stage in the development of urban gastronomy
“Ministry of Desserts” has become not just a place for a quick snack, but a cultural space where every guest can find their favorite dessert or breakfast, feel comfort and coziness in the very center of the city. Thanks to branding, a recognizable style and modern approaches, we helped the establishment become an integral part of Kyiv’s gastronomic life.
